Visiting animal shelters and eating vegan food in Chicago

I touched down in Chicago and visited a local no-kill animal shelter that specializes in animals that would have trouble being adopted. The animals that have the hardest time being adopted are black animals, older animals, and FIV + felines. Lulu's Locker is doing very important work. Lulu's Locker is all volunteer run and is trying to raise funding for their facilities. http://luluslockerrescue.org From there I stopped by a Michelin rated vegan restaurant to try some Asian influenced dishes with my meat eater friends.
